We have arrived safe and sound in the great state of CT. Aside from a total wipe out on the tarmac on the way to plane #2 resulting in a scraped knee and minor bleeding, the trip was uneventful. I think that the other passengers were a bit scared when I carried a screaming and bloody child down the center aisle to the very last seat in the back of the plane, but he calmed down in almost the second we settled in and actually ended up taking a little snooze. On top of that I got to prove what an awesome mom I am when I successfully produced 2 Care Bear bandages from my backpack to cover the boo boos with. I rock. Hard. Of course, I have no idea where the afore mentioned Care Bear bandages came from or how they got into my backpack (they've probably been there for a year) but that is neither here nor there.
I also wanted to update about the current round of pre-orders. If you got on the list between 12/07 and 2/08 you should have gotten a pre-order email from me. If you didn't, check your spam folder and if it isn't there, shoot me an email. I am so excited to be working my way through the wait list so quickly! I think that the "one pair rule" will be lifted with the next pre-order, woohoo!

I tried to look at the waiting list to see when I asked to be on it in case I needed to email you but the lsit is not there anymore. I don't think I asked to be added in the timeframe you mentioned but I wanted to check and make sure in case I needed to email you.
The wait list that was on the blog was just the first 150 names or so and all of those people have been taken care of. I stopped posting new names to the wait list because it was taking to much time to manage that way. I have all the wait list folks in a folder in my email client now. I am out of town so I don't have access to the list right now, but if you email me at info@crankypantshome.com I can check when I get home. I will add a few of each size/design on top of my order just to take care of folks who may have fallen through the cracks, so we'll take care of you if that is the case, don't worry! :)
Oooh, if the one pair rule is lifted, does that mean those of us that already put in this last pre-order can come back for another pair? I ordered for my ds a medium even though he will be getting sooo close to a large this fall/winter.
