I made these Walrus Booty longies for Amanda and her husband, who is a gigantic Beatles fan. I wanted to look up the lyrics for the title of this post because I didn't want to get them wrong, especially in front of a music fan. I consider myself a Beatles fan. I went through a serious John Lennon phase in high school and has his picture taped in my locker while most girls my age were oogling Jon Bon Jovi between study hall and lunch. But who the heck knows how to spell "coo-coo-ca-choo" correctly? Not I. Anyway, I was horrified when I went to the lyrics database and found that they have the lyrics listed as "goo-goo-g'joob". WHAT? I am the Walrus, goo-goo-g'joob? Really? REALLY? Have I been getting this wrong all along? I totally thought it was coo-coo-ca-choo. I thought that coo-coo-ca-choo was a solid piece of pop culture history. Not goo-goo-g'joob! Now, I do realize that both little pieces of songwriting genius are complete nonsense, but I feel as though my world has been shaken a bit. Goo-goo-g'joob. Who knew?
Anyway...

Those came out sooo cool! I love them!
That's beautiful!! Colors are just perfect...I am giggling about the coo-coo-ca-choo; I would feel the same way too!
same thing happened to me! I was writing it out and wanted to make sure, which is when I discovered the goo goo g'joob thing too! I was pretty annoyed about it at the time, but have since gotten over it. ;) very cute walrus pants.
