Mollie's Little Monster Booty

I just got this picture from Mollie and I had to email her back immediately and ask her if I could please post it here to show off. Is this a cute monster bum or what? When I finish a pair of longies I usually think they are pretty cute. But seeing them on a little tush brings the cute factor to a whole other level.


Seriously.

Here are the first two Mahar orders of the month, a pair of little monkies. I don't know what is up with the picture, they look a little funky.



And here are Ms. Mollie's monster booty longies. I have never done this color combination before and I have to say that it is one of my new favorites. I had to take indoor pictures with odd lighting (I don't know what's up with my pictures lately) so the blue looks a little purple-y. It isn't at all, it's a nice dark-ish blue and it looks really cool with the red and green. Maybe Mollie can get a good action shot once she gets them on her little beastie.

I mean really, does it get any cuter than that??? That look on her face is absolutely priceless, I love it. Thank you Gina!!!

Next up is a pair of monkey shorts for Amanda and then some more Mahar orders. I am also knitting up some samples for our Russian knitters-to-be. Mahar Dry Goods is also going to begin offering some shorties beginning in May, so I need to get some samples to Robert for photographs for the site. Spring is going to be busy around these here parts.

But not too busy for bike riding!!!



Henry just got his first bike yesterday. This is the look he gets on his face right before he yells "No more pictures MOMMY!" and runs back into the house. Oops. Yes, I know, he needs a helmet. I will be getting him one before he rides for real. The helmet he has is too small since he apparently has the largest head in documented history.

Okay. Back to the needles.

So it seems that you guys have found my longies at Mahar Dry Goods. Robert emailed me this morning and told me that you snapped up TWICE the number of longies in ONE HOUR than I was supposed to sell through them the whole MONTH. Them's my girls! Seriously, though, I want everyone to know that ordering through Mahar is not the same as ordering through me. The three designs he carries are the only three designs available. I will not be customizing any of the sizing or designs. We haven't come to a decision about whether or not I will do custom colors, but as of now, please treat ordering through Mahar just like if you were going to buy a pair of pants at a retail store. Now I just have to figure out how I am going to make 14 pairs of longies this month. Hmmm...

I guess I had better get to work.

Whoooaaaah mamas!

Well, what a crazy two days it has been around here. As most of you know, I opened for custom orders yesterday. When I set the custom list to open on the first of every month I never imagined that it would end up to be a midnight ordering frenzy! I knew a couple of mamas were joking around about staying up until midnight to order, but I didn't think I would get such a flood of requests. The list opened and closed at midnight, it just blows my mind.

Okay, this entry has been saved as a draft for a while and I didn't get back to it as quickly as I'd have like to. Sorry 'bout that!

Moving has been hectic and kind of nightmare-ish, but Henry finally seems to be settling in and we are getting there. I am looking forward to making an IKEA run and getting this place looking more homey. Right now it still has the old lady vibe of the owner. We need some cool curtains and rugs and we will be all set.

Hopefully I'll be able to post some new pictures soon. I am looking forward to, but am a little intimidated by, the longies Andrea wants for her little BBoy. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best ;)
