Rock Climbing and Monster Bags

Yesterday morning Kyle took Henry out for a little adventure. They climbed to the top of Mt. Pisgah and even did a little real mountain climbing. It gives me the warm fuzzies when they do father and son stuff together, it is just so nice. And I know Henry loves every minute of it. I mean, I know mountain climbing will never compare to sitting with me while explain knitting to him, but it is a nice try...

I whipped up a few larger monster bags for Charlotte. I am kind of actually hoping they don't all sell because I want one!

The bags are great! I love them! I also think it's cool that Henry gets to spend time in the big outdoors with his Dad. They have lots to teach each other!!

I LOVE those monster bags.

Are those as hard to come by as the pants? I don't think I have seen them sold anywhere.

Thanks! Nope they aren't as hard to come by as the pants, they just haven't gone up yet. As soon as this big craft show is over (this weekend) anything I have left over is going up on my Etsy shop. I'll post a link to it as soon as they go up, it might take me until Monday morning :)

As always, I am impressed with your skills lady. Those bags are super cute!

Is that the butcher paper and fabric paint I see? Of Audrey fame perhaps? You did a great job!

Hey Val, are you talking about the monster patches? They are all made by Voz over at Fishcakes. I usually put that in the picture posts but it slipped my mind this time. She screen prints them onto heavy duty canvas using her Gocco. I use super duper fusable interfacing to make sure they don't fray and sew them on with embroidery floss.

Now you have piqued my curiosity, though-who's Audrey?
