Peru Update

For those of your following my fair trade saga...

I just got off the phone with my "Peru guy" (aka Angelo) and it seems that we have hit a small set back. Since they usually use baby alpaca and not wool they had to make a special large yarn order for me, which I knew would add extra time onto the whole process. It turns out the colors we need aren't readily available. So... they are going to dye special batches of super soft Peruvian Highlands wool just to match my colors! Pretty cool, no? We might be looking at a few extra weeks, but I think it will be worth it. I feel all fancy having special yarn made just for me.
