Ugggggggggghhhhhhh!

It seems that we have been taken down by our first case of back to school sickies. I was up all night with Henry throwing up and having back end issues as well. Poor little guy. He seems happy as can be this morning, but it feels like he has a slight fever. I woke up (after Kyle let me sleep in since I was up all night, even though it was his morning to sleep late- yay Kyle!) feeling like I got hit by a minibus. My throat is on fire and I just feel-to use a technical medical term- poopy. Today is my favorite local festival, too-The Lexington Avenue Arts & Fun Festival. It is a really local festival where all the "Asheville Freaks" come out to play and sell fun stuff and play fun music and have a generally great time. It doesn't look like I'm going to make it this year. Ah well.

To my folks: Because you let Henry throw those balls down the stairs and throw them back up to him for hours on end. Because you always remember him when sending a package. Because you always start the Harley engine for him so he can hear it roar. Because you can't wait to teach him everything you know. Because you know I'm a good mom (even when I'm not so sure) and make sure to tell me when I need to hear it most. Happy Grandparents' Day. I love you!
