Alright, so I couldn't get a good 'after' picture, he couldn't stop making goofy faces. It is seriously cute, though, and I have 346 days left to get a better one. He was reluctant to cut his trademark 'physicist' mop that short and insisted he just wanted a trim, but I finally convinced him to go shorter by showing him this picture of Benedict Cumberbatch, aka: Sherlock, aka: the voice of Stephen Hawking in Into the Universe. Playing with a Rubik's cube. Even my little contrarian couldn't resist that geekbomb.
