This is a fairly horrible picture of me, but I'm going with it anyway. This afternoon I was lucky enough to be able to take advantage of a work trade opportunity with a local heirloom seed company called Sow True. In exchange for a few fun hours packing seed, they are making a donation of organic heirloom seeds to the Vance Elementary Peace Garden! I can't say enough about how kind and friendly these folks are. If you are in the Asheville/WNC area, please consider supporting this amazing local business when planning out your spring planting!
