The first July custom is done! These little guys will be out in tomorrow's mail:
A friend and amazing photographer, Rebecca from Catchlights NW is local to Olympia, WA and is going to do a Crankified photo shoot with Kimya and Panda Dawson later on this summer. These one of a kind longies for Panda were knit using organic merino wool hand dyed by Hillary of Dashing Dachs in her amazing "Guppy" colorway with a contrasting semi-solid in "Kelp Green". It knit up like buttah, and if you can manage to get your needles on some, I would highly recommend it.
This afternoon my best bud and sister in craftiness, Jess from Quit Baby, get to ditch the husbands and kids and run off to check out The Big Crafty over at The Grey Eagle in the River Arts district of Asheville. I have been whining about the lack of local indie craft shows for months and months so I did a little jig when I saw the flyer for this at Orbit video the other day. I recognize some of the crafters' names from their Etsy stores so I can't WAIT to check it out.

My sister and I stuck the babes in the slings and checked it out. Its not so much her element so we didn't stay long but I thought it was cool.
