Ariel's Longies

After making a color mistake and ending up with an extra pair of Jolly Rogers, I am finally done with the most patient and kind Ariel's order. I lucked out and was able to sell the spare Jolly Rogers pretty quick. *phew*

I hope you like them Ariel!

Things around here continue to be crazy. We had our first Halloween party of the season this past weekend, so I had to finish up Henry's costume. He insisted that he wanted to be a "chicken robot", so here's what I came up with...

The deadline for ordering Halloween longies has passed, so that should
take a little bit of the pressure off until the inevitable holiday rush begins. I was also asked to do a trunk show at my favorite local bakery/coffeehouse which is pretty cool. I only hope that I can muster up the time! I also got a wholesale request from a super cute brick and mortar store in Taos, NM called Blue Fish Baby which is really flattering since they have awesome stuff, but there is no way I can make it work right now. Busy, busy, busy!

I hope all is well with everyone as we make our way into the chilly weather!

Mahar Dry Goods and Stephanie Longies

Hi all! I've been neglecting you, I know. I have been super busy these past weeks and haven't had time to check in.

In some exciting news, Mahar Dry Goods has started carrying 4 of my designs in 4 standard sizes. Here is a picture of my very first order for them.

I have also completed a big order for Stephanie.

I am finally feeling a bit caught up, so I am going to open up customs again. We'll see how that goes...

I have also just gotten back to working out of the house for the first time in about 4 years. Henry seems pretty cozy in preschool, so I thought it was time. I am working half days at a local elementary school teaching reading to second and third graders. It is going to take me a while to adjust to the new schedule and learn to balance work with family with Crankypants. It might mean that I need to slow down and take a very limited number of customs at a time so I don't get too backed up. Wish me luck!

Oh, and Henry says hi:
